The tandem plant consists of a controller and two complete treatment chambers.

Whilst treatment chamber 1 is heated up and the treatment process performed, a new charge is prepared on chamber floor 2 and then chamber hood 2 is positioned over the chamber floor. As soon as the cooling process starts in treatment chamber 1, the controller switches to treatment chamber 2 and starts a new process there. The system is designed such that switching over can be carried out unmanned, i.e. at night or on work-free days.

Minimum saving: The cooling, loading and unloading times for each charge.
